Terms of Consignment

Authenticity Requirement: Glampot exclusively accepts 100% authentic, pre-owned or unused designer items that are in a saleable condition.

Penalty for Counterfeit Items: Any item discovered to be counterfeit will incur a service fee of RM300 per item, or RM700 per Hermes item. Counterfeit items not collected within 7 days of notification will be disposed of.

Goods Received Note: Sellers will receive a Goods Received Note detailing the consigned items and the initially agreed-upon cost price.

Pricing Determination: The cost or value of each item will be determined by Glampot based on factors such as demand, condition, and age. Any discounted prices will be pre-discussed between the seller and Glampot.

Liability for Natural Damage: Glampot is not liable for any natural damage caused by storage or humidity. Consigning items will be at the consignor's own risk. This includes leather press marks or dents as a result of contact with zip or straps, freckles, discoloration, bleeding glue stains, tarnishing, and disintegration.

Payment Schedule: Payment for a consigned item sold between the 1st and 15th of the month will be issued by the 25th of the same month. Payment for items sold between the 16th and 30th/31st of a month will be issued by the 10th of the following month. All payments will be made via bank transfer.

Payment Notification: Sellers will receive SMS or email notifications when payment has been transferred to their bank account.

Status Updates: Glampot does not provide regular updates on the status of consigned items unless the seller contacts them and provides the item code from their receipt.

Minimum Consignment Duration: Consigned items must remain with Glampot for a minimum of 60 days. If the seller chooses to collect an item within 2 months, a service fee of RM50 per item will be charged.

Collection Requirements: The original Goods Received Note and valid identification (IC/Passport) must be presented by the seller or an authorised representative when collecting an item.

Unsold Item Return: Glampot reserves the right to return any unsold items after 180 days or whenever deemed necessary.

Notification of Representative: If a representative is collecting items on behalf of the seller, Glampot must be notified in advance.

Return Item Collection: Return items must be collected within 60 days of the first notice. Failure to collect within this timeframe may result in automatic shipment to the seller's mailing address.

Ownership of Uncollected Items: Glampot will assume ownership of uncollected return items after 6 months and will provide notice to the seller via SMS or call.

Amendment of Terms: Glampot reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice.



Additional Terms & Condition for the Consignment of Shoes 

Risk of Consignment: Upon acceptance of shoes on consignment, Glampot will conduct a thorough inspection to identify any early signs of potential damage. However, it is essential to understand that consigning your shoes is undertaken entirely at your own risk.

Liability for Disintegration: Glampot shall not be held liable or responsible in the unfortunate event that your shoes disintegrate during their display in our inventory or when a client tries them on.

Return Policy for Disintegration: In the event a client purchases your shoes, Glampot offers a specific 2-week return policy solely for cases of disintegration. If a pair of shoes disintegrates within the 2 weeks following purchase, we will return the damaged shoes to you.

Selection Criteria: To maintain the quality and durability of the shoes in our collection and provide our clients with peace of mind, we have established specific selection criteria. Accordingly, shoes with rubber soles or cork that have not been worn for extended periods will not be accepted for consignment.
