Understanding Hermès Stamps

Each Hermès item has a stamp that indicates the year it was made. 

Hermès utilizes alphabetical letters in order to date the bags encompassed by a shape. From 1945 to 1970, no shapes were utilized. From 1971 to 1996, a circle shape is utilized. From 1997 to show, a square shape is utilized. The list demonstrates the year made, and the letter that would be stamped on the bag in view of that year.
